Neurodiversity at work: the resources worth bookmarking
Good intentions are a fine start, but they are not a plan. These are the Australian organisations we point managers, HR teams and neurodivergent people to when they want evidence, practical guides or funding for workplace adjustments.
One honest note: we do not diagnose, and nothing here is legal or HR advice. For adjustments and employment law, these bodies and your own HR or employment adviser are the right people.
Neurodiversity and autism
- AmazeThe peak body for autistic people and their supporters in Victoria, and a national voice on autism. Plain, practical guides, including plenty for employers who want to get it right.
- Autism CRCAustralia's national research centre for autism. Evidence and free tools, so your workplace changes rest on research rather than a hunch.
- Neurodiversity HubResources for employers, universities and neurodivergent people moving into work. Lots of real programmes to borrow ideas from.
Disability and work
- Australian Disability NetworkThe employer network for disability inclusion. Benchmarks, training and good company for organisations serious about inclusion.
- JobAccessThe government's hub for disability employment, including the Employment Assistance Fund for workplace adjustments. Free advice for employers and employees.
